Plant Sale May 7th

Shop the Garden Clubs of Crystal Lake Plant Sale for an exciting variety of plants chosen by our
members for success in your McHenry County garden. This sale takes place from 9:00am to
12:00pm Saturday, May 7 at the Colonel Palmer House.
The annual Garden Clubs of Crystal Lake Plant sale is one of the areas premiere plant sales. It
offers all kinds of plants, including trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, ferns, and herbs. The plants
are specially grown and chosen by the experienced members of the Garden Gate and Green Twig
Garden Clubs.
Master Gardeners will be available throughout the sale to answer questions, suggest plants, and
help shoppers narrow their choices. Once shoppers have paid, club members will help transport
their plants to their cars.
Purchases at the Plant Sale support the Clubs’ philanthropic work promoting horticultural
education, outreach, and scholarship.
The Colonel Palmer House is located at the northeast corner of Terra Cotta Avenue and Route
