Meet Congressperson Bill Foster at the Democrats Will Not Be Eclipsed Town Hall event from 2 to 4pm on Saturday, October 14th at the McHenry Public Library hosted by McHenry 31 Precinct Committeeperson Terry Kappel.

“This event will be an opportunity to hear directly from our Representative in Washington,” Kappel said.

A PhD physicist and businessman, Congressperson Foster was first elected to the United States Congress in 2008 and has served there since. He is currently a member of the Financial Services Committee. There Foster has proudly helped create several important reforms in the financial services and housing markets, including the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which are among his many accomplishments.

At this Town Hall Foster will offer updates on the important work needing to be done on behalf of the American people in Washington and to take questions.

“Attendees who wish to do so, will also be able to sign nominating petitions, outside the building, to allow Mr. Foster and other Democratic candidates to have their names placed on the 2024 Primary Election ballot.” said Kappel.
