Route 14 To Close For Water Main Repair

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Crystal Lake officials are warning residents about a road closure on Friday due to the need to fix a water main break.

Route 14, between Dole Avenue and Florence Street, will close starting at around 3 a.m., a press release from the city says. The left eastbound lane will be closed.

Repairs are expected to be done by 2 p.m. on Friday. The press release asks motorists to avoid the area if possible, due to the possibility of heavy traffic.
