University of Illinois Student from Barrington Dies
Police are investigating the death but do not suspect foul play.
Police in Urbana are investigating the death of a University of Illinois student from Barrington who died Wednesday, the Daily Herald reports.
Bret Vogt, a 2013 graduate of Barrington High School, was pronounced dead at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, according to the article. Foul play is not suspected.
Vogt was president of the Illini Bass Fishing Club and a member of the Delta Chi fraternity. The Illini Bass Fishing Club shared its condolences for Vogt’s family and friends.
“There are no words to say except we will miss him. We hope the bass are biting in heaven,” according to a post on the fishing club’s Facebook page.
