Coronavirus In IL: Dundee’s St. Paddy’s Day Parade Cancelled

Parade organizers say the annual St. Patrick's Day parade may be rescheduled.

EAST DUNDEE, IL — Village officials and festival organizers in East Dundee have cancelled the Thom McNamee Memorial Dundee St. Patrick's Day Parade and Kilted 5K Run amidst fears of COVID-19. The cancellation comes following the postponement of Chicago’s St. Paddy’s Day Parade earlier Wednesday and guidance from the Center for Disease Control urging residents to avoid large gatherings like parades to prevent the further spread of the virus.
