Sex Offender Sentenced to Prison for Sexually Assaulting Child

Johsua Lulow has been sentenced to 27 years in prison.

A 37-year-old McHenry man has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child, prosecutors said Monday.

Joshua Lulow pleaded guilty to predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, according to a news release. He was charged with “committing acts of sexual penetration against a child under the age of 13 between the years of 2008 and 2014.

Lulow, a registered sex offender, was previously convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in 2008. In that case, Lulow was 29 years old at the time of the offense and the victim was 6 years old.
