Steinhafels Opens, Announces Grand Opening Plans
The furniture and mattress superstore opened in the former Kmart location in Crystal Lake.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- The Steinhafels in Crystal Lake opened this past week and has been seeing a steady stream of customers stopping by to check out the stores’ offering of furniture and mattresses. A grand opening is planned for Feb. 15. The store at 4846 Northwest Highway in Crystal Lake opened in a space formerly occupied by Kmart.
“It’s going really good, and we’re excited to see so much traffic in the store,” general manager Christina Weyers told the Northwest Herald. “People are excited. They’ve been watching us being built for months now. It’s exciting to get people in here to see the products in our showroom. We are open for business.”
During the Feb. 15 grand opening celebration, which will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., there will be free snack and refreshments, a free gift for those who stop out (while supplies last) and a chance to win a Chevy Equinox three-year lease.
