Students at Chesterbrook Academy(R) Preschool in Lakewood Donate 280 Pounds of Food to Grafton Food Pantry

Students at Chesterbrook Academy preschool in Lakewood celebrated the conclusion of their “Share the Love” food drive by delivering 280 pounds of non-perishable food items, gift cards, paper goods, personal grooming items and household cleaning materials to benefit Grafton Food Pantry in Huntley. Prior to the delivery, students guessed the weight of their donations and helped pack the items for drop off. At the food pantry, students received a tour and learned how their contributions will help those in need.

Grafton Food Pantry strives to improve the lives of friends and neighbors in need by providing food items and education on nutrition and smart shopping.
