Tadelman files petitions with nearly 1,500 signatures

Candidate for McHenry County Sheriff, Robb Tadelman, filed petitions containing the signatures of nearly 1,500 McHenry County voters. Nearly 40 people circulated petitions across the county. The petition is a critical part of the process to have candidate names placed on the ballot for the June 28, 2022, General Primary Election.

“I am grateful to all of those who circulated petitions on my behalf and helped contribute to the collection of so many voter signatures. I am humbled by their support and that of many others who have contributed to my campaign in so many ways. I am also pleased to have the support and endorsement of an ever-growing number of elected officials and community leaders,” said Robb Tadelman.

Tadelman was endorsed early on by current McHenry County Sheriff Bill Prim. More recently he received the endorsement of former State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi and the Mayor of the largest city in McHenry County, Crystal Lake Mayor Haig Haleblian. Circuit Court Clerk Kathy Keefe, Grafton Township Supervisor Eric Ruth, Marengo Alderman, and former Mayor Dennis Hammortree, and Bull Valley Police Chief Tracy Dickens. In addition to the support of local elected officials, Tadelman has received the backing of three Sheriffs from surrounding counties. Boone County Sheriff Dave Ernest, Winnebago County Sheriff Gary Caruana, and DeKalb County Sheriff Andrew Sullivan have all endorsed Robb Tadelman for Sheriff and have based their support on an assessment of Tadelman’s qualifications and their own interaction with him.

Tadelman resides in Lake in the Hills with his wife and two children. He is an 18-year veteran and full-time law enforcement officer who has risen through the ranks to become under-sheriff, the ranking deputy to the Sheriff.
