Violent Threats Made At Bus Stop Land Teen In Jail: Police

The violent threats were made against Northwood Middle School in Woodstock.

WOODSTOCK, IL – A 13-year-old student has been charged with disorderly conduct after he made threats of violence against a Woodstock middle school last month, police said Monday. The teen, whose name is not being released since the teen is a juvenile, is accused of making the threats while at a bus stop with other students in unincorporated Wonder Lake on Feb. 21. The violent threats were made against Northwood Middle School in Woodstock.

The teen, who attends Northwood, has been arrested. The teen, who is from Wonder Lake, is being held at the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center on a charge of juvenile disorderly conduct – a class 4 felony, police said.
