Teens Injured After Crash Into Mailbox, Tree in Subdivision Near Cary

The teens were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two teens were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a 16-year-old boy crashed an SUV into a mailbox and a tree in a subdivision in the 2800 block of Harvest Glen Circle near Cary on Monday morning, the Northwest Herald reports.

The teen told police he was reaching for something in his backseat when the crash occurred. Police said excessive speed was not a factor and both teens had their seat belts on at the time of the crash, according to the article.
