TRAFFIC ALERT: Avoid Northbound Route 31 Following Crash

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – Drivers in Crystal Lake are going to want to avoid northbound Route 31 north of Three Oaks Road this morning. A car crash resulted in damage to a pole and utility crews are at the scene replacing the damaged pole, according to an alert sent by the Crystal Lake Police Department Tuesday at 8:46 a.m.

Northbound Route 31 in the area of the crash is currently down to one lane. Work was expected to wrap up this afternoon, police said.
