Tree of Life Congregation Celebrates Art With July Show
Around 30 artists will exhibit and sell their works inside the air conditioned church building on on the grounds under a large tent.

The Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry will have a Celebration of Art on Saturday, July 30 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday July 31from 10 am to 4 pm.
In addition there will be a wine and cheese reception to meet and mingle with the artists from 5 to 7 pm on Saturday evening. In addition, each artist will donate a work to be raffled off, the proceeds going to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of McHenry County which provides trained volunteers to advocate for child victims of abuse and neglect in Juvenile Court and in the foster care system. Raffle tickets can be purchased at any time during exhibit hours.
About 30 artists will show their work both inside our building and outside on the beautiful grounds. Since art encompasses more than visual art, there will also be musical entertainment throughout the show.

The Celebration of Art is an informal heir to the long running art show hosted by congregation members Deb Glaubke and Gale Harris on the grounds of their Woodstock home. Fans of that popular event will be glad to find that its spirit lives on.
