On Saturday, October 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the Village of Cary and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills or patches to the Village of Cary Police Department at 654 Village Hall Drive for proper disposal. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. **Please note that no syringes or liquids will be accepted.
Personnel will be available at the Cary Police Department to accept prescription drug drop-offs between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The Police Department also has a permanent drug drop off container in the lobby of the Police Station if residents are unable to attend this event.
