Village Reminder: Do Not Flush Wipes

The Village would like to remind residents that certain items cannot be flushed down toilets. Examples of items that cannot be flushed include baby wipes, disinfecting/sanitary wipes, paper towels, facial tissues, or napkins. Items such as these must be thrown out with the trash.

Remember only water, human waste, and toilet tissue should be flushed down toilets. Clogged pumps could lead to sewer backups, which can back up into homes or cause damage to the Village's sewage system.

So remember to help protect Village sewers - " No wipes in the pipes"
