Volunteers Needed for CL Park District Ice Fishing Derby

The Crystal Lake Park District is looking for volunteers to assist with the Ice Fishing Derby at West Beach on Crystal Lake on Sunday, February 10. Volunteers are needed for various duties including concessions, registration, raffles and runners. Anyone ages 16 & up is welcome to volunteer. Volunteer shifts are: 7 am-Noon or Noon-2 pm (event clean-up and assistance with raffles) on the day of the event. Ice Fishing Derby on Crystal Lake

Sun, February 10, 7 am-Noon

West Beach, 2330 Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake

Plan on a full day of contests, raffle prizes, cash prizes, food and of course, fishing at West Beach. Proceeds benefit the Crystal Lake Park District Crystal Lake fish restocking program.

Advance registration requested by February 6, free raffle tickets for those pre-registered

Participants over age 16 years must have a valid IL fishing license
