Water Main Break Closes Prairie Street
Repairs are underway and expected to wrap up this afternoon.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – A water main break has forced city officials to close Prairie Street east of the Union Pacific Railroad crossing Tuesday morning. Repairs were expected to start at 7:30 a.m. and continue through 2 p.m., according to the news release.
Prairie Street will be closed between Glen Avenue and East Street, according to a city of Crystal Lake news release.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area since traffic delays are possible.
