Winning $450K Lottery Ticket Sold In Crystal Lake

A $450,000 winning lottery ticket was sold Friday evening in Crystal Lake. The Lucky Day Lotto ticket was sold at a BP, at 7615 Route 14, and matched all five numbers, 03-04-09-16-28, in a Sept. 8 drawing, according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights, according to lottery officials. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.

The retailer will receive a bonus of $4,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
