Wolves One Step From State Championship Game
Prairie Ridge prepares to face off against Rockford Boylan in semifinals.

After topping the then undefeated in last Saturday's playoff game, is looking to beat another undefeated team this week.
If they can, it'll mean a trip to central Illinois and a shot at the state championship.
But first Wolves must face Rockford Boylan. The Titans slipped by Cary-Grove 20-14 last Saturday after it took overtime to keep the Titans undefeated.

Boylan ups the Wolves on points, rushing yards and passing yards per game, but that doesn't mean PR won't be putting up a fight.
"We're looking at stopping the quarterbacks." head coach Chris Schremp said. "They've got two really good quarterbacks and we've gotta figure out a way to stop them. They rotate them, and they're both good."

Expect the Wolves to also be working the ball around offensively. Running back Connor Greenwald sits on top of scoring for the Wolves, averaging at 14 points per game.
"As far as offensively, from game to game our strategy doesn't change much. We run our offense." Schremp said. "We have some new formations and things like that that we run against teams to take advantage of their defense. The plan is to always run it faster and that's really all it is."
