Three of them filled large bags with clothing after entering the store, police said.

WOODRIDGE, IL – Five out-of-state women are accused of taking part in the theft of clothing at Kohl's in Woodridge, then leading police officers on a brief chase, authorities said.

Aalayah Allen, 25; Navora Brashear, 21; Kenyuanna Gunsby, 22; Ahnamarie Brown, 19; and Makayla Jones-Spencer, 21, were arrested on charges of felony burglary and misdemeanor mob action charges, police said. Brashear is from Avondale, Arizona; the others are from Milwaukee.

About 4 p.m. Thursday, three of the women immediately began filling large bags with clothing after entering Kohl's, prosecutors said. After three minutes, they left and entered a car, where two of the suspects remained, police said.

The car, believed to be driven by Gunby, sped up and led police on a pursuit, according to a news release from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. After about five minutes, the driver blew out a tire and pulled into a gas station, where the women were arrested, police said.

Brown, Jones-Spencer and Gunby face additional charges of felony retail theft. Gunby was charged with one count of felony aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer, three counts of misdemeanor aggravated assault and one count of misdemeanor reckless driving.
