Darien Man Accused Of Aggravated Battery: Cops
In another case, a woman is charged in connection with damaging several cars in hit-and-runs, police said.

DARIEN, IL – In the last few days, Darien police handled cases involving aggravated battery, hit-and-runs, felony fleeing an officer and trespassing. Here is information from the latest Darien police reports:
Aggravated battery
- Anish Lakhe, 22, of Darien, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 8900 block of Brandon Road on charges of aggravated battery and resisting a police officer. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Patch has filed a public records request for the full report.

- An officer saw several damaged cars about 9 p.m. March 14 in the area of Hinswood Drive and Cass Avenue. The officer stopped the suspect in the parking lot of WoodSpring Suites, 951 N. Frontage Road. Barbara Jones, 24, of Chicago, was charged with no valid driver's license, failure to yield turning left, failure to give aid or information at an accident, driving an uninsured vehicle and a child restraint violation. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Felony fleeing an officer
- Million Abay, 22, of Chicago, was arrested about 1 a.m. March 15 on charges of felony aggravated fleeing and eluding an officer, DUI, reckless driving, possession of a fictitious driver's license, speeding 24 to 34 mph over the limit, improper lane usage, improper turn, failure to signal when required, driving too fast for conditions, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and transportation of open alcohol by a driver. Police said an officer saw Abay speeding 69 mph in a 45 mph zone on 75th Street near Eleanor Place. He struck a street sign, continued through a grassy area and then struck two boulders and a Potbelly restaurant sign. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Trespassing

- Jason Teffeteller, 47, of Jacksonville, Florida, was cited about 10:30 p.m. March 15 at Speedway, 7502 Cass Ave., on a charge of criminal trespassing to property. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Earlier this month, Teffeteller was arrested on charges of trespassing and resisting an officer at Darien's Taco Bell.
