Darien Woman Among DUI Arrests: Police
Another woman was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
DUIs
- Monica Sami, 38, of Darien, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Plainfield Road on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, speeding and disobeying a traffic control device. Police said she was speeding 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Vasil Martinov, 19, of La Grange, was arrested about 6 p.m. Friday on charges of DUI, consumption of alcohol by a minor and improper lane usage. An officer reported that Martinov swerved into the left lane twice on Knottingham Lane. The officer stopped Martinov in the 7300 block of Cass Avenue. Martinov was released and given a date to appear in court.

- Kimberly Franklin, 23, of Chicago, was arrested shortly before midnight Saturday at Lemont Road and Timber Trail on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, driving an uninsured vehicle, improper lighting and crossing a designated median. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Burglary
- Public Storage, 1001 N. Frontage Road, was burglarized between 5 p.m. Aug. 31 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 30. Someone stole a number of items from a storage locker. The loss was estimated at $500.
Retail theft

- Kylia Robinson, 45, of Downers Grove, was cited about 8 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. Police said she was seen under-scanning items at the self-checkout aisle. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
