Goddard School Darien Pre-K Students Read 1,000 Books!

The Goddard School Darien PreK Students have achieved the goal of reading 1000 books before entering Kindergarten, a goal they started at the beginning of the school year.

Studies show that reading helps develop a rich vocabulary and strong language skills, enhances memory and speech development and overall brain connectivity, and children who have been exposed to books and reading tend to display better listening skills, attentions spans and letter-sound recognition, making them more confident learners.
