• Darien Home Invasion Suspect Upset About Grandmother's Home: Police (patch.com) — Residents of Darien are learning more about an August 4 home invasion on Sequoia Lane, where a Homer Glen man allegedly broke through a window, injured the resident, and stole a phone. Police say the suspect referenced a dispute over his late grandmother's former Darien home, and he was later arrested after a SWAT-involved standoff. Authorities note that such home invasions remain rare in Darien.
