Darien Cop Catches Suspect In Chase That Started In Woodridge: Prosecutors (patch.com) — A high-speed police chase that began in Woodridge sped through Darien neighborhoods, where a Darien officer repeatedly encountered the fleeing driver before the pursuit ended in Downers Grove. Prosecutors say the 19-year-old suspect faces multiple aggravated fleeing charges, criminal damage to public property, and more than 30 traffic offenses after allegedly driving toward an officer and into oncoming traffic on familiar Darien roads.
