Accelerated Physical Therapy offers free ACL injury screens to help combat the rising number of ACL injuries.

Due to the rising numbers of ACL injuries sustained by athletes of all ages, Accelerated Physical Therapy is now offering a complimentary ACL injury screen to help determine if an athlete is at risk for sustaining an ACL strain or tear.

The 30-minute assessment is performed by a highly trained physical therapist specializing in preventing and treating ACL injuries, including strains and tears. The assessment includes tests for strength, stability and flexibility in the muscles surrounding the knee, hip and core. After the exam, the physical therapist will provide an evaluation and recommended next steps, which may include an appointment with a board-certified physician who best meets the needs of the patient. Additionally, Accelerated may offer the patient advice on strengthening exercises.
