Battery With Deadly Weapon Arrest Made: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

ARRESTS

IDENTITY THEFT

A warrant was obtained for a 35-year-old Vernon Hills resident for identity theft on Aug. 28 in the 700 block of Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. Bond was set at $350,000 and a court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• A 35-year-old Waukegan resident is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 29 at Wadsworth and McAree roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Oct. 11 was assigned.
• A 49-year-old Waukegan resident is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 30 at Wadsworth Road and Chicago Avenue, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Oct. 4 was assigned.
• A 35-year-old Kenosha, Wisconsin resident is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 31 at Wadsworth Road and Lewis Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Oct. 4 was assigned.
• Suzanne S. Batch, 42, of the 800 block of Marshall Drive, Des Plaines, is accused of DUI alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Sept. 1 in the 700 block of Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Oct. 4 was assigned.
• David Oshana, 49, of the 0-100 block of Orchard Lane, Lindenhurst, is accused of aggravated DUI, possession of a stolen weapon, and was arrested Sept. 1 in the 2200 block of Grand Avenue, Lindenhurst. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.
• Paschual Garcia, 37, of the 2900 block of Willow Lane, Zion, had a warrant for DUI, and was arrested Sept. 2 at Grass Lake. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of Sept. 12 was assigned.
• Lisa Drohman, 54, of the 0-100 block of Oak Hill Colony, Fox Lake, is accused of DUI drugs, driving while license revoked, and was arrested Sept. 3 at Route 176 and Gilmer Road, unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Nov. 1.
• Michael A. Hines, 36, of the 4100 block of Bertand Lane, Zion, is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested Sept. 3 at Beach Road and Lewis Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 27 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A STOLEN VEHICLE

Marla M. Rice, 40, no permanent address, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, and was arrested Aug. 29 in the 500 block of Townline Road, Mundelein. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Oct. 4 was assigned.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED

• A 28-year-old Zion resident is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested Aug. 30 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Gonzalo Cieto-Ayala, 46, of the 1000 block of Westmoreland Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Aug. 30 at Sheridan and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000.
• A 36-year-old resident of Zion is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested Aug. 30 at Wadsworth Road and Bernice Terrace, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Pedro Jesus Mena, 34, of McKinney, Texas, is accused of driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Sept. 1 at Butterfield and Winchester roads, Libertyville. Bond was set at $2,000.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

• A 40-year-old Beach Park resident is accused of driving with no driver's license, and was arrested Aug. 31 at Beach and North avenues, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• A 30-year-old Zion resident is accused of driving with no driver's license, and was arrested Aug. 31 at Loyola Avenue and Howard Street, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT TO A PEACE OFFICER

Arely Diaz, 30, of the 1100 block of Park Avenue, North Chicago, had a warrant for aggravated assault to a peace officer, and was arrested Sept. 1 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $150,000 and a court date of Sept. 20 was assigned.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

Robert Wargin, 53, of the 20800 block of W. Genoa Avenue, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and was arrested Sept. 1 in the 39300 block of Route 59, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $150,000 and a court date of Sept. 27 was assigned.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY

John F. Davis, 53, of the 38500 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for criminal trespass to property, and was arrested Sept. 2 at Sheridan Road and Talmadge Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $75,000 and a court date of Sept. 27 was assigned.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

• Ryan S. Geisler, 32, of the 600 block of Sycamore Drive, Elk Grove Village, is accused of disorderly conduct, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested Sept. 2 at Petite Lake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Oct. 5 was assigned.
• Emanuel Romero, 26, of the 800 block of W. Guerin Road, Libertyville, is accused of battery, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Sept. 3 in the 27800 block of Grass Lake Road, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Sept. 7 was assigned.
