Man With Fleeing Warrant Resists Cops: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

BATTERY

• Joseph Hatchett, 19, of the 200 block of Penny Lane, Grayslake, is accused of battery, and was arrested Aug. 21 at Lake County Jail. There was no bond as he was being held on other charges. A court date of Sept. 11 was assigned.
• Avantae Turner, 21, of the 2800 block of Glen Flora Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of battery, and was arrested Aug. 21 at Lake County Jail. There was no bond as he was being held on other charges. A court date of Sept. 6 was assigned.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

Denzel M. Vaughn, 26, of the 1300 block of Terrace Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of attempted burglary, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Aug. 21 in the 11400 block of W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 29 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Ricardo Bahena, 30, of the 26300 block of N. Route 83, unincorporated Mundelein, had a warrant for driving under the influence, a new charge of DUI alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 22 in the 26500 block of N Route 84, unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Aug. 30 was assigned.
• Davontra W. Halls, 28, of the 1000 block of Winthrop Court, Zion, is accused of DUI alcohol, aggravated speeding (104 MPH in a 45 MPH zone), driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested Aug. 25 at Route 173 and Lewis Avenue, Zion. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Oct. 4 was assigned.
• Todd D. Tuesley, 53, of the 24200 block of N. Grandview Drive, unincorporated Barrington, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 27 in the 24200 block of N. Grandview Drive, unincorporated Barrington. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 27 was assigned.

FLEEING AND ELUDING

Cameron K. Goodwin, 27, of the 1500 block of N. Hickory Avenue, Round Lake, had a warrant for aggravated fleeing and eluding, driving while license revoked, a new charge of resisting a peace officer, and was arrested Aug. 23 at Wadsworth and Sheridan roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Aug. 30 was assigned.

TRESPASSING

Kevin A. Irons, 28, of the 9400 block of Latrobe Avenue, Skokie, had a warrant out of Cook County for trespassing, and was arrested Aug. 23 at Route 173 and Green Bay Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $1,500 and a future court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the report.

POSSESSING A STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

Omarion A. Springs, 19, of the 3000 block of Ezekiel Avenue, Zion, had a warrant for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and was arrested Aug. 24 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $200,000 and a court date of Aug. 31 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Brandon Mendoza, 19, of the 1800 block of Joanna Avenue, Zion, had a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Aug. 24 in the 200 block of W. Water Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $350,000 and a court date of Sept. 11 was assigned.
• Jovanni Mora, 24, of the 400 block of Cory Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Aug. 25 at Sheridan Road and Cory Avenue, Waukegan. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Sept. 1 was assigned.
• Armando Paredes, 34, of the 24300 block of Tyler Avenue, unincorporated Round Lake, is accused of aggravated domestic battery, and was arrested Aug. 27 in the 24300 block of Tyler Avenue, unincorporated Round Lake. Bond was set at $200,000 and a court date of Sept. 26 was assigned.

SPEEDING

David Isidoro, 18, of the 1300 block of Turtle Creek Circle, Palatine, is accused of aggravated speeding (112 MPH in a 55 MPH zone), and was arrested Aug. 25 at Route 12 and Bonner Road, Wauconda. Bond was set at $1,500.

OPERATING A WATERCRAFT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

Michael F. Wolan, 23, of the 13000 block of S. 79th Avenue, Palos Heights, is accused of operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 25 at Nippersink Lake. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Oct. 11 was assigned.

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT

Christopher J. Moragne, 27, of the 3500 block of Winhaven Drive, Waukegan, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Aug. 27 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $1,500.
