Felon Accused Of Leaving Accident, Weapon Possession: Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Macie J. Matchett, 18, of Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 22 in Unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Dec. 21 was assigned.
• Arlene J. Nechistak, 34, of Unincorporated Lake Zurich, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 24 in Unincorporated Lake Zurich. Bond was set at $25,000 and a court date of Dec. 27 was assigned.
• Maria C. Zetina-Marin, 33, of Unincorporated Round Lake, is accused of domestic battery, driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested Nov. 25 in Unincorporated Round Lake. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of Dec. 8 was assigned.
• Claude Koszuta, 60, of Unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 25 in Unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Dec. 3 was assigned.
• Nicholas W. Tarsitano, 20, of North Barrington, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 26 in North Barrington. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Nov. 30 was assigned.
• Richard W. Bonow, 50, of Wadsworth, is accused of having a warrant for domestic battery, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested Nov. 27 in Wadsworth. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Dec. 17 was assigned.

MONEY LAUNDERING

Benel Lopez, 65, of the 3000 block of Sunset Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for money laundering, theft, and was arrested Nov. 23 in the 500 block of Rockland Road, Unincorporated Lake Bluff. Bond was set at $50,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

BATTERY

Thomas A. McElligott, 39, no permanent address, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated battery out of DuPage County, and was arrested Nov. 24 in the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. There was no bond set and a future court date in DuPage County was to be determined at the time of the report.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Ignacio J. Cambray, 25, of the 36900 block of N. Bayonne Avenue, Unincorporated Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated speeding (72 mph in a 40 mph zone), driving while license revoked, and was arrested Nov. 24 at Delany Road and Gent Drive, Waukegan. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 12 was assigned.
• Michael S. Castellanos, 30, of the 38400 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Nov. 25 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 12, 2022, was assigned.
• Ronald D. Carroll, 41, of the 8300 block of S. Blackstone Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Nov. 25 at Delany and Yorkhouse roads, Waukegan. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 12, 2022, was assigned.
• Edward R. Arce, 30, of the 500 block of Rae Avenue, Lake Villa, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated speeding (100 mph in a 40 mph zone), no insurance, open transportation of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Nov. 26 at Grass Lake and Halings roads, Unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 8, 2022, was assigned.
• Andrew A. Sherrod, 40, of the 2700 block of Galilee Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested Nov. 26 at Sheridan Road and Carmel Boulevard, Zion. Bond was set at $3,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Ryan S. Johnson, 34, of the 40100 block of N. Donald Drive, Unincorporated Antioch, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, violation of an order of protection, and was arrested Nov. 27 at Routes 83 and 173, Antioch. Bond was set at $25,000 and a court date of Dec. 6 was assigned.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

Andrew Mosher, 30, of the 20600 block of Park Avenue, Unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of having a warrant for driving while license suspended, and was arrested Nov. 25 in Unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Dec. 3 was assigned.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Deaunta S. Turner, 25, no permanent address, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested Nov. 27 in the 25200 block of W. Route 60, Unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Jan. 6 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON BY A FELON

Forrest J. Jackson, 40, of the 300 block of McKinley Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Nov. 27 at Route 45 and Washington Street, Third Lake. Bond was set at $750,000 and a court date of Nov. 30 was assigned.
