Florida Warrant For Arson Arrest Made: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

ARRESTS

BATTERY TO A PEACE OFFICER

Chaquanese V. Lawrence, 33, of the 1100 block of Shoreland Court, Round Lake Beach, had a warrant for aggravated battery to a peace officer, and was arrested Nov. 7 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Nov. 30 was assigned.

RETAIL THEFT

Katie Powers, 39, no permanent address, had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested Nov. 7 in the 2700 block of Lake Cook Road, Long Grove. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Nov. 15 was assigned.

BATTERY

• Jason A. Hart, 32, of the 38200 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of battery, theft, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Nov. 8 in the 38500 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Nov. 17 was assigned.
• Jaquelin E. Magee, 56, of the 38500 block of N. Waveland Avenue, Wadsworth, is accused of aggravated battery, domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 10 in Wadsworth. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Dec. 8 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Jose A. Gutierrez, 50, of the 2100 block of Indian Road, Waukegan, had a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 9 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Nov. 17 was assigned.
• Cristian A. Yarbrough, 26, of the 35900 block of N. Wilson Road, Ingleside, is accused of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery to a victim with a disability, and was arrested Nov. 9 in Ingleside. Bond was set at $500,000 and a court date of Dec. 7 was assigned.
• Conor J. Hathorn, 26, of the 400 block of Julian Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 10 in the 25600 block of W. Route 60, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of Nov. 30 was assigned.
• Jane L. Suarez, 51, of the 18500 block of W. Main Street, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 11 in unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Dec. 6 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Tara M. Makar, 48, of the 10000 block of W. Talmadge Avenue, Beach Park, had a warrant for aggravated driving under the influence, and was arrested Nov. 9 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Nov. 18 was assigned.
• Christopher J. Springer, 63, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested Nov. 10 at Route 45 and Stearns School Road, Lindenhurst. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 4, 2023, was assigned.
• John Puntos, 22, of the 900 block of Silver Lake Road, Cary, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Nov. 10 at Route 22 and Old Barrington Road, Lake Barrington. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Dec. 7 was assigned.
• Janel M. O'Mara, 52, of the 40600 block of Fairview Drive, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Nov. 12 in the 40400 block of Fairview Drive, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 9, 2023, was assigned.
• Joanna Atempa, 50, of the 2100 block of Hebron Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Nov. 12 at Sheridan Road and Howard Street, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Dec. 14 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Gus G. Bell, 33, of Racine, Wisconsin, is accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated speeding (80 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested Nov. 9 at 5th Street and Lewis Avenue, Winthrop Harbor. Bond was set at $150,000 and a court date of Dec. 6 was assigned.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

A 23-year-oold Zion resident is accused of no driver's license, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Nov. 10 at Wadsworth and Green Bay roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Frank L. Williams, 65, of the 1900 block of Seymour Avenue, North Chicago, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, no driver's license, and was arrested Nov. 11 at Sheridan and Ganster Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Nov. 17 was assigned.

ARSON

Kaylen S. Travis, 22, of Pensacola, Florida, had a warrant out of Santa Rosa County, Florida, for arson, and was arrested Nov. 11 in the 500 block of Decatur Street, North Chicago. Bond was set at $1,000,000 and a court date of Nov. 15 was assigned.
