Keys Left Inside Car Stolen From Parking Lot: Riverwoods PD Blotter
Police said credit cards left inside the vehicle had also been used unlawfully.
RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Brian S. Astudillo-Madrigal, 23, of the 200 block of Inwood Drive, Wheeling, is accused of improper lane usage, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 11:16 p.m. July 29, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on Aug. 23.

Police responded to the 1200 block of Saunders Road at 7:53 p.m. July 28, for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle had been parked in a parking lot during the day with the fob/keys left inside. Additionally, credit cards left inside the vehicle were used unlawfully. The incidents are under further investigation.
