Keys Left Inside Car Stolen From Parking Lot: Riverwoods PD Blotter

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Brian S. Astudillo-Madrigal, 23, of the 200 block of Inwood Drive, Wheeling, is accused of improper lane usage, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 11:16 p.m. July 29, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on Aug. 23.

STOLEN VEHICLE

Police responded to the 1200 block of Saunders Road at 7:53 p.m. July 28, for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle had been parked in a parking lot during the day with the fob/keys left inside. Additionally, credit cards left inside the vehicle were used unlawfully. The incidents are under further investigation.
