Inam Hussain announces candidacy for 8th Congressional District

Well Known Democrat and a long time Social worker Dr. Inam Hussain, announced Thursday October, 17th 2019 that he is challenging congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi for Illinois 8th Congressional District in March Primary election.

Mr. Hussain spoke to supporters gathered in a community center during a kickoff event in Chicago Suburban Oakbrook.

Hussain a Long-time active Democratic activist said, “I am is running for Congress because I will be the part defeat Donald Trump also I will build a better and strong Illinois. I am fighting for the best interests of the people of District 8th and against incumbent Democrat congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi.”

I will be providing great and Strong platform revolves around putting the community first, especially working-class families, in terms of promoting higher wages like $15 per hours, employment protections, union labor, climate change, focus on health care and education will be first.

Raja is causing harm to our Community and voters of Illinois 8th Congressional District. I last two Elections I voted for him. He totally Ignore. Last month He went to Houston to Support Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Narendra Modi openly supports Donald Trump. It’s can’t be Democratic Party policies. You can’t played both side. Raja doesn’t care about his voters he is carrying a foreign agenda. He is not solved or listening his voters. He became a spokesman of Indian government instead of his constituents. He got millions of dollars in his campaign account. How he got this money he must be investigated.

Illinois' 8th Congressional District covers the northern suburbs of Chicago, including portions of Kane, DuPage, and Cook counties.
