Oakton hosts Emeritus open house for students 55 and over

Students 55 and over are invited to attend a lifelong learning open house from 1 - 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 25, at Oakton’s Skokie campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Avenue.

Participants will learn about the college’s Emeritus program that offers a variety of credit and noncredit classes including cinema, fitness, history, philosophy and current events. Instructors will be on hand to discuss unique learning opportunities that include weekly lectures in a wide assortment of topics relevant to “the student who wasn’t born yesterday.”

Classes meet at the Skokie campus as well as the Des Plaines location (1600 E. Golf Road). To attend the open house, call (847) 635-1414.
