Beyond individual development, District 30 fosters strong community connections. Rhonda is serving as the current president of the Des Plaines Art Guild (dpag.org). She studied printmaking, drawing and painting at the Art Institute of Chicago and Northeastern Illinois University. Along with giving seminars and art demonstrations, she has taught adults and children at the Des Plaines Park District and at the Science and Arts Academy. Rhonda has received many accolades for her dedication to bringing arts and cultural enrichment to her community.
