If you would like to learn all types of art techniques, local residents are invited to become members of the Des Plaines Art Guild. Beginning this fall, bi-monthly demonstrations will be held at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker in Des Plaines. Meetings take place the second Tuesday of the month (except for the months of July, August and January). By joining the DPAG, you will automatically receive a reciprocal membership in the Park Ridge Art League (PRAL), whose meetings are held at the South Park Rec Center, 833 Talcott Avenue (at Cumberland) on the 3rd Friday of the month. The combined groups will take turns each month hosting future demos, exhibits and special events in the upcoming season.
