1 Dead After Pedestrian Vs. Train Crash In Westmont

WESTMONT, IL — One person is dead after they were hit by a train in Westmont Thursday afternoon.

The pedestrian was struck by a Metra train around 3 p.m., not far from the train crossing in Westmont, a news release said. The person was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Westmont Fire Department.
