2 Hospitalized After Domestic Dispute In Downtown Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- Two people are hospitalized after what police are calling a "domestic-related dispute" that broke out in downtown Downers Grove Tuesday . The incident took place at the intersection of Maple and Main Streets, according to police.

In a press release sent around 2 p.m., Downers Grove Police Department spokesperson Bill Budds said the scene of the incident is secure and there is no threat to the public. The pair sustained injuries that were not life threatening and were taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
