$20K In Power Tools Stolen From Business In Westmont
Police say the suspects forced their way into the business around 3 a.m.
WESTMONT, IL — Police in Westmont are investigating a burglary in which more than $20,000 in power tools was stolen from a business Sunday. The incident was reported after a burglar alarm was set off in the 200 block of West Ogden Avenue just before 3 a.m.
Police say the suspect or suspects forced their way into the business. They then stole "numerous power tools," according to a police report.
The total loss was valued at $20,650. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Westmont Police Department at 630-981-6300.
