DOWNERS GROVE, IL — More than two dozen teachers from Downers Grove Grade School District 58 have received a total of $22,000 in grants to help them enhance their classrooms with tools for social-emotional learning, maker experiences, sensory materials and other plans.

The grants were awarded to the following educators to support their initiatives:

“I am very grateful to the Education Foundation for their continued support of District 58 instruction and learning,” said Superintendent Dr. Kevin Russell. “This year’s total grant award has doubled from last year and will provide many more opportunities for teachers and staff to incorporate unique learning opportunities in their classrooms and workspaces.
