Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital Welcomes New Doctors

Anju Agarwal, D.O.; Iram Ahmed, M.D.; Brian Ayuste, M.D.; Michael Berkowitz, M.D.; Jennifer Brown, M.D.; Eric Chassin, M.D.; Weiser Cordero, M.D.; Daniel Danahey, M.D.; Collins Fitzpatrick, M.D.; Susan Gratton, M.D.; Brian Harting, M.D.; Praveen Nallapareddy, M.D.; Monica Patadia, M.D.; Heidi Swanson, D.P.; Nabil Tariq, M.D.; and Theodore Zbiegien, M.D. have joined the Good Samaritan Hospital medical staff.

Anju Agarwal, D.O., practices in Downers Grove, and graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.  Agarwal completed her residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.  Agarwal is board certified in internal medicine.

Imran Ahmed, M.D. practices in Glendale Heights, and graduated from Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan.  Ahmed completed his residency at Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park.  Ahmed is board certified in internal medicine.

Brian Ayuste, M.D. practices in Bolingbrook, and graduated from Loyola University in Maywood.  He completed his residency at UCLA/VA in Los Angeles, Calif.  He also completed a fellowship at The Cedars-Sinai Medical Center/Veteran Affairs West Los Angeles Medical Center in nephrology.  He is in the process of becoming board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty in nephrology.

Michael Berkowitz, M.D. practices in Willowbrook, and graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. Berkowitz completed his residency at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.  He is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

Jennifer Brown, M.D. practices in Downers Grove, and graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, in North Chicagol.  She completed her residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.  She is in the process of becoming board certified in internal medicine.

Eric Chassin, M.D. practices in Lombard, and graduated from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he also completed his residency and a fellowship in joint replacement.  Chassin is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

Weiser Cordero, M.D. practices in Downers Grove, and graduated from Saint Louis University.  He completed his residency at University of Illinois at Chicago-Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.  Cordero completed a fellowship in geriatrics at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, and is in the process of becoming board certified in internal medicine.

Daniel Danahey, M.D. practices in Glen Ellyn, and graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus.  He completed an internship at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, in general surgery, completed his residency at Ohio State, specializing in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery, and completed a fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Edina, in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.  He is board certified in otolaryngology with a subspecialty in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Collins Fitzpatrick practices in Glen Ellyn, and graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston.  He completed an internship at Evanston Hospital  and his residency at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.  He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Susan Gratton, M.D. practices in Naperville, and graduated from Stanford University.  She completed an internship and residency at the University of California in San Francisco in internal medicine.  She also completed a fellowship there in rheumatology.  She is in the process of becoming board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty in rheumatology. 

Brian Harting, M.D. practices in Crestwood, and graduated from Saint Louis University.  He completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he was chief resident specializing in internal medicine.  There he also completed a fellowship in infectious disease.  He board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty in infectious disease.

Praveen Nallapareddy, M.D. practices in Oakbrook Terrace, and graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago.  He completed an internship and his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.  There he also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology.  He is in the process of becoming board certified in gastroenterology.

Monica Patadia, M.D. practices in Oak Brook, and graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago.  There she completed both an internship and her residency in otolaryngology.  She also completed a fellowship at Rush University – Midwest Sinus Center in Oak Brook,  specializing in advanced rhinology and facial plastics.  She is in the process of becoming board certified in otolaryngology. 

Heidi Swanson, D.O. practices in Downers Grove, and graduated from Midwestern University in Downers Grove.  She completed her residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.  She is in the process of becoming board certified in pediatrics.

Nabil Tariq, M.D. practices in Glen Ellyn,  and graduated from the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan.  He completed his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, specializing in general surgery.  He completed two fellowships, one at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, specializing in surgical critical care and the other at the Cleveland Clinic in flexible endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery.  He is board certified in general surgery with a subspecialty in surgical critical care. 

Theodore Zbiegien, M.D. practices in Lombard, and graduated from American University of the Caribbean in Coral Gables.  He completed both an internship at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, where he specialized in family medicine.  He is board certified in family medicine.
