Applications Open for Free Health Careers Program at Midwestern
Current high school juniors and seniors are invited to apply for the Health Careers Institute at the Downers Grove campus.

High school students interested in an in-depth look at healthcare careers are encouraged to apply for Midwestern University’s annual Health Careers Institute for High School Students, which will take place from June 10-14, 2024.
This FREE hands-on program is open to current high school juniors and seniors. It will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day at the University’s Downers Grove Campus. Twenty-four students will be admitted to the program.
Midwestern University faculty and students will teach workshops in anatomy and introductory clinical skills for various health professions, with a special focus on how to prepare for college and what to expect from each profession. Lab demonstrations, lectures, and interactive activities for this exciting summer program will include current medical topics such as Public Health, Osteopathic Medicine, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Skills, Dental Simulation Lab, Physician Assistant Studies, Pharmacy Lab, and more.
