Armed Man Robbed 3 In Parking Lot In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Three men were robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of a banquet hall in Downers Grove Saturday.

Police say the men were in the parking lot of Ashyana Banquets, 1620 75th St., just after 8:30 p.m. when an armed an approached them and demanded their property. After the robbery, the suspect fled south on foot in the direction of 75th Street.

The suspect was described as a Black man standing about 5 feet, nine inches tall and weighing roughly 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black puffy coat, black pants and a black ski mask.
