Convenience Store Armed Robbery Under Investigation In Naperville

Police say the suspect showed a gun and stole cigarettes and cash.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Thursday night.

The robbery was reported at a convenience store in the 1600 block of Route 59, according to a press release from the Naperville Police Department. According to police, a man came into the store with a handgun and took cigarettes and cash.

Police say the suspect fled the area in a car and there is no danger to the public.
