Back To School: District 99 Calendar For 2023-24

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Community High School District 99 with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2023-2024 school year.

The first day of school for District 99 students is set for Aug. 21.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. We also suggest that you check the District 99 calendar and your child’s individual school calendar regarding conferences, open houses, meetings, exams, early dismissals, athletic and other school events.

Below is the list of dates to know for the 2023-24 school year:

Aug. 21: First Day of School

Sept. 4: Labor Day, no school

Oct. 6: Parent/Teacher Conferences, no classes

Oct. 9: No School

Nov. 22 - Nov. 24: Thanksgiving Break, no school

Dec. 22 - Jan. 5: Winter Break, no school

Jan. 8: No School (Teacher Institute)

Jan. 15: MLK Jr.'s Birthday, no school

Feb. 19: President's Day, no school

March 1: No School (County Institute Day)

March 22 - March 29: Spring Break, no school

May 19: Graduation

May 27: Memorial Day, no school

Emergency days are scheduled May 28 - May 31 and June 3.
