El Sierra School Thanks Volunteers
El Sierra students recently got the chance to thank the school's volunteers for their support.

On April 18, students at El Sierra School got the chance to show their appreciation to the senior volunteers who worked with them this year.
The school hosted a special tea that afternoon, and while the honored guests enjoyed refreshments, all third through sixth grade students stopped by to say thank-you and present hand-made cards. Over the course of the school year, the senior volunteers, most of whom come from Fairview Village, worked with all of the classes in the building on reading and literacy.
The school also treated all El Sierra volunteers to breakfast April 11 in honor of National Volunteer Week.

“We truly appreciate all of our volunteers for their support of our school and our students,” said Principal Lucille Carney.
