Is your vehicle protected from the winter weather?

My name is Paul Kludac, Founder & CEO of Detail Kings.  Detail Kings has been servicing the Chicagoland area for the last 18 years.  We are a full service hand car wash and detail shop.  As a car expert and certificed rep of Meguiar's products it is very important to protect your vehicle from the harsh elements that winter brings ie. salt, ice, snow and coldness.  A good buff and wax will protect your vehicle from rust which will be a big eye sore to look at and it will decrease the value of your vehicle.  If your car has a lot of contaminants on there you should have the vehicle clayed.  If you rub your hand over the surface of your hood and it feels gritty there is a build up of contaminants that causes that grit which makes the surface not smooth.  

Many vehicles have leater seats.  Seeing that leather expands when it is warm and contracts when it is cold it is a good idea to have the seats cleaned and conditioned with a Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner.  On many vehicles you will see cracks in the  leather, that is due to no treatments done on the leather.  The cracks will turn into tears and that will also decrease the value of your vehicle when you are looking to sell it or trade it in.
