O’Neill Students Step Back in Time to 1968
O'Neill students culminates study of the 1960s with visit to the 1968 exhibit at the Downers Grove Museum.
Eighth-graders in O’Neill Middle School’s gray cluster had the opportunity to step back in time recently.
As a culmination to their study of the 1960s and the conflict in Vietnam, the class walked over to the Downers Grove Museum to view the 1968 in America exhibit.
The class rotated through the house and exhibit and were treated to a live outdoor 1968 music concert courtesy of O’Neill instructional aide Chris Tiritilli, who compiled a list of songs from the year 1968 and performed them for the students.
