Ronald McDonald Visits Belle Aire to Accept Pop Tab Donation

Ronald McDonald stopped by Belle Aire May 16 to thank students for collecting nearly 16 gallons of pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House.

Students at Belle Aire School spent the past year collecting pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House—and on May 16, Ronald McDonald himself stopped by to thank them.
“Even something as small as pop tabs can really help a lot of people, and you have made such a difference,” Ronald told the students.

The classes donated nearly 16 gallon milk jugs’ worth of pop tabs to the organization, which provides a place to stay for families of children getting treatments for a serious illness or injury.

Ronald conducted an assembly for the younger grades, in which he talked about how to be a good friend, including being a hero and standing up to bullies; sharing; and including everyone in games and activities. Afterwards, he paid personal visits to the classrooms of the older students.
