'Bright & Early' Grants Boost Collaboratives For Kids In DuPage County

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Eight local child-focused organizations were recently awarded grants totaling more than $345,000 as part of DuPage Foundation's Bright & Early DuPage initiative. The program focuses on supporting programs that benefit children from newborns to pre-kindergarten students.

The following organizations received grants:

  • Addison Partners for Play: $45,000
  • Bensenville Early Learners Supporters: $45,000
  • Glenbard Early Childhood Collaborative: $50,000
  • Supporting Early Education in DuPage South: $30,000
  • Villa Park Area Early Childhood Collaborative: $40,500
  • Willowbrook Community Early Childhood Collaborative: $50,000
  • WeGo Together for Kids: $40,000
  • Wheaton Warrenville Early Childhood Collective: $45,000

"Through cross-functional collaboration and strategic investment, access to high-quality early childhood education and care has significantly increased in the DuPage community over the last decade,” DuPage Foundation's Vice President for Programs Barb Szczepaniak shared in a statement.
