Candlebox, Local H, Liquid Soul To Play Oktoberfest In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Candlebox, Local H and Liquid Soul are featured on the music lineup for Downers Grove Oktoberfest 2026. The two-day festival celebrating German culture will be held Sept. 18 and Sept. 19 in the village's downtown area.

Two stages will feature live music, children's entertainment and a bratwurst eating contest. The full performance schedule is as follows.

Sept. 18

5 p.m.: Ellie Banke

6:30 p.m.: DJ music from Angel Song Entertainment with Tina Messmer King

7:15 p.m.: Local H

8:30 p.m.: DJ music from Angel Song Entertainment with Tina Messmer King

Sept. 19

11 a.m.: Downers Grove Public Library Story Time

11:30 a.m.: POWW Wrestling Oktoberfest Slam

1:30 p.m.: Kids DJ Dance

2 p.m.: Ralph's World

4 p.m.: Bratwurst Eating Contest

4:30 p.m.: DJ music from Angel Song Entertainment with Tina Messmer King

5 p.m.: Reality Bytes

6:30 p.m.: The Todd Show

7 p.m.: Big Bang Baby

9:15 p.m.: Liquid Soul

Visitors who aren't up to vying for glory in the bratwurst eating contest can dine on non-competitive portions of bratwursts, over-sized Bavarian-style pretzels, potato pancakes, apple strudel and other German favorites.

The 21-and-over beverage menu includes Oktoberfest brews from Warstiner, Sam Adams, Paulaner and Revolution Brewing that will be available on tap. Wine and White Claw will also be available.

General admission tickets are $25 per person on Friday and $15 on Saturday.

VIP tickets are available and include a swag bag and access to the front stage's party pit, a private cash bar and "luxury bathrooms."

Attendees can also upgrade to a VIP Pit Pass and After Party admission This additionally includes "late-night eats," access to a private cash bar and drink specials and access to an afterparty that will be held at a location that has yet to be confirmed.
